CREATIVE SUMMIT 2018

In October 2018, the Dallas office hosted designers from all of Learfield IMG College’s extended business lines for a Creative Summit- a gathering for creatives to connect and find community. The Creative Summit was three days of portfolio reviews, panels of creatives and networking within the Learfield IMG College family. It allowed all of the creatives to share our experiences and day to day roles.

The Dallas design team brainstormed and came up with our summit theme. We wanted other creatives to be excited and to feel like they were attending something as special and unique as they are. We were particularly inspired by retro 80’s graphic design, pulling from album covers and neon signs to create a logo that would capture the spirit of the creative community.

Before the Creative Summit, our team sent out a survey and asked the attendee’s to write a bio, tell us their favorite Pantone color and songs that spark their creativity. With all of this information we created our own Pantone Color Book with the results the survey. This created a conversation piece for creatives to talk about their design background, what inspires them and to answer the question- what is creativity to you?

Shaped and laid out like a Pantone color swatch book, we printed, cut and bound all of the booklets so that each attendee would have something to take home with them. This project allowed me to design something different than my normal day to day and stretch my creativity.
